Enclosed ground flares for an LNG export terminal in Louisiana.
Four enclosed ground flare systems, each a combustion chamber about 20 m across and 46 m high, built in our works, trial-assembled in full and shipped across the ocean.

An LNG terminal burns off gas safely inside enclosed chambers. Each chamber had to arrive as a kit of panels and frames that would bolt up on the other side of the world without a single mismatched hole.
- Detail design to the licensor’s drawings
- Shell panels rolled and numbered by ring
- Internal column and ring-girder frame
- Noise shrouds, wind fences and platforms
- Studs welded for the ceramic tile insulation
- Painting and export packing
- Three-roll pinch cum pyramid plate rollsShell panels rolled to the chamber radius.
- Kotec newRun10DX CNC beam drilling lineFrames and panel borders drilled on 3 faces, CNC accurate.
- Deratech Supera-H 12030 fibre laserPlates and gussets cut on the 20 kW fibre laser.
- Conveyor shot-blasting lineBlasted and painted in house, with a coating inspector on the floor.
Every chamber is trial-assembled to full height in our 30 m bay before dispatch, so fit-up problems are found in Ahmedabad, not on site.
