Where the tracker turns

The slew drive turns the whole row. Its seat has to sit level and square on the post, or the drive wears and the row twists.

Cheek and top plates

Cut on the fibre laser and welded in a fixture by robots, so the top plate comes out flat and square every time.

Stiffening fins

A row of fins under the top plate carries the drive’s load down into the cheeks.

Through-bolts clamp the cheeks to the post; the drive bolts on top.
