A space frame covers a stockpile, a plant floor or a terminal in one span. Two layers of tubes, tied by diagonals through ball nodes, act as one stiff shell.

Every node is drilled and tapped on CNC for each member that meets it, at its exact angle, so the grid closes without forcing.

Tubes are cut to length and end cones welded on, then galvanised or painted. Each one is marked for its place in the grid.

Diagonals tie the two layers together, so the frame carries load as a shell rather than as separate beams.

Bearings along the eaves let the frame move with temperature without loading the columns.
